CHRISTIANS TOGETHER by Kevin Gallagher

Churches Together (CTM) really, but I think Christians Together gives a much better flavour of what is happening.

Events ongoing or forthcoming include:-

Youth Workers: In Christ In Schools is involved in a training scheme which sees mutually beneficial placements in local churches.

Prayer Patrol, the people who go out on the streets of Mansfield daytime and evenings are inviting volunteers.

Prayer groups: there are two groups meeting to pray on last Monday evening and last Sat morning respectively. All are welcome.

Ranby Prison Fellowship:- visiting Ranby Prison unsurprisingly, and again volunteers are invited to become involved.

The Christian Bookshop on Newgate Lane now offers a 'good' selection of second hand books; please take a bookmark from the back of church today.

The last CTM monthly business meeting was held in the Pilgrim Centre at Mansfield Community Hospital. Meetings are usually on third Monday in the month and provide a lot of food for thought. As you can see this is much more than a talking shop.
